Meet Tracy Laoshi
I’m a professionally trained Mandarin educator, native Mandarin speaker and award-winning children’s author.
I believe children learn to speak when they hear plenty of natural Mandarin, have meaningful reasons to communicate, and feel safe enough to try.
My goal is to build children’s confidence, spark their curiosity, and help them enjoy speaking Mandarin beyond the classroom.
How Children Learn Here
Every lesson has a clear theme and speaking goal. Children hear natural Mandarin, practise useful language through guided conversation and play, and use what they have learned to express their own ideas.
Classes are led by Tracy Laoshi, a professionally trained native Mandarin teacher. Children hear natural Mandarin throughout the lesson, building clearer pronunciation, stronger listening skills and a natural feel for how Mandarin is used.
Each unit has an engaging theme and a clear communication goal. Children learn useful vocabulary and sentence patterns, then use them to communicate and express their own ideas.
Songs, stories and games create low-pressure opportunities to listen, respond and speak.
A love for Mandarin grows when children feel safe enough to try and confident enough to speak.
A visual coursebook helps children review key vocabulary and sentence patterns from each theme.
